Maserati India has launched the 2021 Ghibli at a starting price of Rs 1.15 Crores (ex-showroom), India. It has been introduced in four trim levels: Base, GranLusso, GranSport and Trofeo. The new Maserati Ghibli comes with a V8 engine for the first time while the top-of-the-line Trofeo trim has also been included in the line-up for the very first time. The company has carried out substantial cosmetic updates in the 2021 Ghibli while it also becomes the first hybrid Maserati Cars  to ever go on sale in India or anywhere else in the world.




Speaking of the cosmetic updates, the 2021 Ghibli flaunts restyled signature front grille with the iconic Maserati Trident and full-LED Adaptive Matrix headlamps. The rear end boasts of LED “boomerang” tail-lamps that are inspired by the Giugiaro-penned Maserati 3200 GT. The saloon has received the highest 5-star EURO NCAP safety rating while it gets a a comprehensive range of Level 2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), which is the highest level of autonomous driving currently permitted. Other features include soft-close doors & keyless entry, brembo braking system, power trunk with kick sensor, skyhook suspensions, 7-inch instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Maserati Connect program.




Mechanically, the 2021 Maserati Ghibli is available with a total of three engine options. The entry-level engine is an all-new 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol unit with a 48V hybrid system. It develops a top power of 330bhp and peak torque of 450Nm. It does a 0-100 kmph sprint in merely 5.7 seconds while clocking a top speed of 255kmph. The saloon can also be availed with a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine which churns out a maximum power of 430bhp and highest torque of 580Nm. It touches the 100 kmph mark from standstill in just 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 286 kmph. Last but not the least, the company has debuted a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine with 580bhp power and 730Nm torque while the 0-100kmph time stands at 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 326 kmph. All the versions come with a rear-wheel-drive setup as standard. The 2021 Maserati Ghibli price list is as given below:
